AISHK sees playing sport as key in providing a balanced education, fostering student wellbeing and enhancing physical skills.
PDHPE
Within the school curriculum, the PDHPE (Personal Development, Health and Physical Education) programme applies to students from Reception to Year 12. The engaging syllabus promotes not only physical fitness, but a healthy approach to a well-rounded lifestyle. Our students learn important life skills that will serve them on and off the field, now and in the future.
Representative Sport
Our sports programme encourages all students to “give it a go” regardless of skill level, to pursue enjoyment of sport and to strive for their personal best. Along with this approach, we ensure there are opportunities for students who prioritise sport to compete in a wide range of tournaments, representing AISHK locally and internationally.
The AISHK sports teams the Kangaroos - emulate strength, speed, power and resilience and the emblem is worn proudly by AISHK students and staff, symbolising our commitment to teamwork and sporting excellence.
